‘A3!’ Game Gets New Ad on Japan’s Stations’ Big Screens

The popular “ikemen-raising” mobile game now has plans to start airing videos on big screens outside some of Japan’s major train stations: Tokyo and Osaka.

The ads debuted on the Hit Vision screens outside Tokyo’s Shibuya station and Osaka’s Ebisubashi station on May 27-28. Mankai Company is streaming the ads for a limited time.

Due to the overwhelming response, a fan meeting with the cast in attendance has already been scheduled for 28 October 2017 in Kanto. Tickets will be given out via lottery with applications included in the character group EPs; The Spring and Summer EPs have been released on 24 May 2017.

Pony Canyon also began streaming promotional videos for the game’s A3! First Autumn EP and A3! First Winter EP releases earlier this month. Both CDs will ship on June 28 for 2,160 yen (about US$20) each.

A3!’s opening single “MANKAI☆Kaika Sengen” produced by Masayoshi Ōishi topped Oricon’s daily CD chart on 20 February and is estimated to have sold 14,957 copies during its first week.
